It's offcial. My car is worth 3Gs. This morning Jer and I went to the Tow place to get the rest of my stuff out of the car (be watching for the manual for a 97 Cavalier on eBay!) and to get the plates. And the all important SU Alumni plate holder! We left the stickers in the back window. I don't think I'd have been able to get the sticker off without destroying it anyway. We didn't bother to clean the trash out, someone else can do that!
Tomorrow I must take my Certificate of Title and the lien release note from First Union to the MVA and get the lien on the title released. Then I have to take that to the Geico office in Rockville so I can fill out the paperwork and they can cut me a check for 3Gs. We're going car shopping on Saturday, before I go into work. I still want my Prius, but the penny pinching miser part of me is asking if getting a new car would really be worth having a new car payment all over again, or just get something cheap with the money they're giving me.
In other good news, our refinance of the mortgage is going in at under 6%. Woo hoo!
This morning I also learned how to use chalk! It was pretty cool. No, not that kind of chalk, scrapbooking chalk! Be on the lookout...
I think that's it. I hope that's it. It's not like there's much else going on. Unless you want to know about the dog pooping on the steps while I was changing my clothes. She'd just been outside, too! I guess she was miffed that I had put the board up to keep her in the backyard. :p Thpppppth!
I hope there's thunderstorms tonight. I like thunderstorms. :)
