Today's appointment was uneventful. That's a good appointment! My BP was 130/88. Still a little high, but not over 140/90 which is where they start to worry. I did just barely get my appointment 'cause as she was walking out of the exam room, her pager went off. Patient in labor! Heh heh. That's twice I've been the last patient seen now.
My ankles are very -very- swollen. My shoes felt funny last night, and when I took off my socks, I realized that my ankles were the size of tomatoes. The swelling didn't go down much overnight, either. It was ok until dinnertime, and then I took my shoes off. I can't point my foot either way right now because of it. I'm not looking forward to putting my shoes back on. Tomorrow I plan on wearing a pair of slipper socks and my Birks. I don't think this is going to go away easily, so I might as well make myself comfortable.
FYI, today it got up into the 50s! Wow. Such tropical weather <./sarcasm>
Jer and I have decided that the last week of April we're going to go visit his grandparents in Missouri. I think he still needs to call his g'ma on that, too. Afterwards, we're due in Iowa City, Iowa on the 30th for the ISCANIC. Never been to one before, and it's bound to be interesting. I should be able to see a couple of friends of mine whom I haven't seen in years, though.
I've gotta remember to BEWARE of a couple of potholes on my way home. They're big enough to eat the car!
