A little late.

This past weekend, Meryell attained Rank 5, and Jez Rank 3. I'm now (at least as Mery) a Airship rider. Yay!

Didn't really do much else. Static didn't happen Friday night. We were planning on Saturday night after Jer & I got home from the Lester family xmas party, but we were missing a member again. Sunday we were entirely too busy working on Rank 5.

Anyway. Not much to tell. Audrey's first tooth is in, but I may have already mentioned that. We did finally get the crib set up. Trying to find all of the toys, but I have a feeling we donated them.

My car is fixed. Yay! I discovered while driving my rental that a gas engine & a hybrid certainly have a different feel.

It's almost Christmas. Still need to get the tree up. Find a gift for my mom & dad. Mostly really need to clear up a spot for the tree. We're still debating where to put it.

Sleep. It's what I'm deprived of.

That and chocolate. I could use some chocolate. Unfortunately, all I have is a 5 and a 20, and the vending machine doesn't take those.

I played last night with the sole intent of working on some crafting. Fat chance! I did get through 12 Fishing Tunicas, with about .5 total Clothcraft skillup. I should find something less expensive to make. I had almost 80K on my mule before I bought the stuff (except for the leather), I realized later that I had only 5K.

But I did let myself go on a trip. Getting Kahzam keys for one of the LS leader's secondary characters. I have never, ever seen someone get their keys so fast. We were barely into killing things when they dropped. Giddeus was about the 5th or so mob (there were other people farming), Palborough was the 2nd, Ghelsba was tne 2nd (in the grotto). We killed a few more to see if we could get a 2nd key (there had been a Chest in Palborough), but no luck. Bah. No idea what I'll do tonight.

I'm signing christmas cards. I hate writing. I can do about 10 before my hand tries to fall off.

Mikey is still excited over his new GBA. Jer wouldn't get it out of the box for him last night, so he's trying again tonight. Heh. I think he'll have to wait until the weekend. Poor Jer is exhausted from class and then the 2 hour drive home from DC.

Bleh. It's cold outside.

Thursday night I was home sick. My migraine lifted long enough for me to play Jez & get all 3 of my Kazham keys.

Friday night's static was nixed. I played BLM instead, but only managed to get myself killed while running to Norg. I stopped paying attention, I got lost, sneak wore off, I got killed. I decided it was time for bed and logged off.

Saturday I had to work. 9.5 hours. [With travelling, that's 11.5 hours that I could have spent playing FFXI...] When I got home, I wound up taking Jez's WHM to the Jungles.

Sunday night (after doing a bit of shopping that afternoon) Jez's WHM went back to the jungle. But my sinuses started hurting so bad, that when Jer logged off for bed, I went too.

Total Accomplishment: Jez - WHM 24-26.

I did do some cooking last night. Got Meryell's Cooking from 51 to almost 53. The Beaugreen Sautees are a little stingy on the skillups. Then I fished while folding laundry and watching Tenchi. I managed 5 stacks of moaties. Hurray!

Today is Mikey's 6th birthday. Happy Birthday Kiddo! He came down in the wee hours of the morning & watched Tenchi with me. He asked if it was his birthday yet, I said yes. "Am I 6 years old?" Yup. I didn't really want to get into explaining to him how technically, he wasn't until after 1pm.

Jer had him open his presents tonight. He's very happy and wanted to play with his new GBA:SP, but Jer told him it was almost bedtime. So kiddo fell asleep on the couch.

Ok! Here's what happened this weekend:

HFSmas Nutcracker 2004
The concert that I really wanted to go to so that I could see Keane.

No, I did not get to see the band I really wanted to see.

Basically, we got stuck in traffic. Accident on 95. Accident on 495. Slow traffic for no reason from 270 to the American Legion Bridge. Slow traffic on 66. Going down 123 to GMU wasn't that bad, but once on campus, it took FOREVER to get to the bloody log to park. Two other events were leaving as we were trying to park. Their lots were prior to ours.

Concert started at 5pm. We got there at 6.

I think that's the order they were in. We were seated in time for BB. We left midway through GC.

Assorted memories: The Killers wore suits. Very snazzy. Jerry liked them & they were great live. The lead singer for FF likes to mumble. He's say something, start off clear and his voice would drop & he'd start mumbling. Jimmy Eat World sang a christmas song. I don't remember what it was, but they said it may suck, & it was actually really good.

Still bummed about Keane. I hope they come back. We got to leave w/ no traffic & made it home by midnight. Hopped on FFXI & played for a bit.

Fairly uneventful, except for the idjit who pissed me off Sunday night. And the technically stuff...it was after midnight.
