Hmm. Almost 5 months. Not quite as bad as my record of over a year. :D

So, starting from where I left off...

I never made it to the HS Reunion and College Bicentennial. A mixture of various factors and I decided it would be best to stay home.

Michael has been doing much better in school so far this year. His first report card was nearly straight As! He has also passing his math and reading TAKS preliminary tests. Yeah, there's a word I can't think of atm, but hey, I resisted the urge to say "thingy". We do, however, still have trouble getting him to read on his own. He picks fiction out from the library, it gets lost, and I find it after it is 3 weeks overdue. *sigh* What he does read is the sciency stuff that he picks out from his school's library. Books on our solar system, individual planets, earth weather, earthquakes, hurricaines, etc etc etc. He says he wants to be a weatherman. Quite a different direction from the firefighter he wanted to be 2 years ago!
